Karin Wikström

Karin Wikström was educated at Valand and currently lives in Gothenburg. Her paintings have literary connotations. Her motifs often come from fables and children’s stories where the characters portray the vulnerability and inclinations of human beings. Wikström has had expositions at, among others, Bror Hjorts Hus in Uppsala, Galleri 1 in Gothenburg, Wetterling Gallery and Gallery Argo in Stockholm, the Art Museum of Östersund and Anders Tornberg Gallery in Lund. Her works can be found in Gothenburg Museum of Art and at Saltarvet, among others.
